Our Safety System

Systems That Work On Site

TMS operates a Safety and Health Management System built for the realities of tier one mining operations. Our SHMS integrates with our clients’ site safety systems, so a TMS crew arrives aligned with the standards, permits and processes already running on your site, not working around them.

Safety & Health Management System
Documented SHMS covering risk management, safe work procedures, permit to work, isolation and confined space entry, fitness for work and incident management. Aligned to the principles of ISO 45001 and integrated with client site systems on every engagement.
Competency & Verification
Every person we place or deploy is verified before they step on site: trade qualifications, tickets, VOCs, medicals and inductions checked and current. Mine compliant, mine ready is a process, not a slogan.
Quality & Assurance
Work delivered against workpacks with ITPs, inspection records and handover documentation. Quality management aligned to ISO 9001 principles, with full QA records supplied at completion.
How We Manage Risk

Controls Before Work Starts

Before Mobilisation
Scope risk review, crew selection against site requirements, inductions, medicals and D&A screening completed ahead of arrival. Insurances and compliance documentation available to clients on request.
On the Job
Prestart meetings, JHAs and step backs, permit and isolation discipline, supervision by leaders who have delivered the same scopes on the tools. Stop work authority sits with every TMS person, without exception.
After the Work
Incident and near miss reporting with genuine investigation and shared learnings, handover and QA documentation, and post job reviews that feed back into our procedures.
People & Wellbeing

Fit For Work, Looked After

Physical safety is half the picture. Through our partnership with MindSculpt Psychology, TMS people have access to genuine wellbeing support: employee assistance, coaching and mental health resources built for the demands of mining rosters. A crew that is looked after off site is a safer crew on site.
